IT Support Analyst

We are currently looking for an office-based IT Support Analyst based in Saintfield.

Reporting into our Information Technology Manager you will support the business group in areas of Information Technology and Data Analysis. You will manage the internal IT service desk and promote use of it throughout the business.

Key responsibilities: ​​

IT Support across multiple sites

  • First point of contact for ICT issues

  • Problem investigation

  • Prioritise tasks in a high-pressure environment 

  • Documentation of actions and solutions

  • Clear user-friendly communication with staff

  • Escalation of problems with 3rd parties where appropriate

  • Set up of user accounts

  • On-going maintenance and monitoring of systems

Data Analysis

  • Produce internal company reports, from multiple data sources

  • An understanding of data transformation

Installation 

  • Preparation of ICT equipment and services

  • Implementation of hardware and services

Our ideal person: 

A proven ability to follow processes and procedures, you will be able to prioritise and manage several open cases at the same time. 

 

Minimum 3 years’ experience in an IT role with project management, excellent problem-solving skills and a clear passion for technology.

 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to understand and communicate with users at different levels of knowledge and experience

Ability to demonstrate success

  • In informatively displaying data

 

Experience with 

  • PC/Printer/Network hardware

  • Microsoft Office Administration Consoles

  • Microsoft Office Applications

  • Service Desk Software

  • TCP/IP networking

  • Cloud-based Telephone Services

  • Interfacing with 3rd party applications

  • An understanding of ERP systems, their role in a modern business

 

Full UK driving licence

Hours of work: 9.00 am - 5.15 pm Monday to Friday
