Job Summary  

Flanagan Flooring Distributors (Scotland) Ltd are currently looking to recruit a new member of our internal Sales team. The successful applicant will be responsible for driving business growth within the company.

Role Responsibilities & Duties

You will be responsible for Scotland’s sales strategy, processes, targets, and reporting. In charge of creating effective business plans to generate new revenue streams, more revenue in existing streams, increase profitability and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Analyse sales data and identify opportunities

  • Work with the internal and external sales teams to help drive sales

  • Work with the marketing team to develop sales & product launches / promotions

  • Identify potential growth areas with a new customer base

  • Lead monthly sales meetings with the Sales Managers

  • Create & manage daily, weekly, and monthly targets & KPI reports

  • Generate leads and outbound sales call process for the internal sales team

  • Assist in creating and managing a CRM system

  • Maintain and continually develop strategies for increasing average order values

  • Keep up to date with competitor pricing & promotions

  • Build relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Use appropriate KPIs to achieve team performance

  • Help manage the sales of our existing and new trade counter

Qualities, Skills & Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales / customer service role

  • Confident using technology including Office365, and managing / analysing data

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Works with integrity, credibility and uses initiative

  • A proactive “can-do” approach to work

  • Ability to learn products and services quickly

  • Able to lead a team
